Selected for the 2025 IDEAL Honor Roll at Stanford

9/11/2025

I am pleased to share that I have been recognized for a second year in a row by being placed on the 2025 IDEAL Honor Roll by Stanford University’s Office for IDEAL Advancement. This award acknowledges my significant commitment to advancing outcomes in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access in a Learning Environment (IDEAL), my exemplary staff service in cultivating a community where every individual is respected, provided the opportunity to flourish, and empowered to contribute meaningfully to Stanford University's mission of research and academics, and my everlasting impact on Stanford University.

Here is the summary of my nomination provided by the Stanford Office for IDEAL Advancement: "Roberta Wolfson has been a driving force within the Stanford Asian Staff Forum, contributing to the Program Committee for three years and ensuring meaningful connection among Asian American staff. Central to the annual Book Club, Roberta expertly manages logistics, collaborates with facilitators, and fosters insightful discussions, elevating the selection and appreciation of AAPI literature. Under Roberta’s stewardship, the community has explored works such as “Portrait of a Thief” by Grace Li and “Crying in H-Mart” by Michelle Zauner. Roberta’s unwavering dedication shines through, exemplified by participation in discussions even while on maternity leave, notably sharing perspectives on “Pride, Prejudice, and Other Flavors” by Sonali Dev. These efforts continually enrich the ASF community and strengthen its bonds."
