On Friday November 14, 2025 from 11:30a-12:40p PST, I will be delivering a talk about my book, Refiguring Race and Risk: Counternarratives of Care in the US Security State (The Ohio State University Press, 2024), at a virtual event sponsored by the Circle for Asian American Literary Studies (CAALS). I will be joined by fellow CAALS members, Chris A. Eng, who will also be presenting on his recently published book, Extravagant Camp: The Queer Abjection of Asian America (New York University Press, 2025), and Howie Tam, who will be moderating a Q&A session following our talks.
